A jumbo handmade journal where aged vintage paper meets a dark romantic garden.
Midnight Garden is an oversized approximately 9" × 11" landscape journal featuring hand coffee-aged pages, a beautiful gold spiral binding and a dramatic dimensional cover created with genuine vintage book pages and sheet music.
Each journal is individually handmade. The recognizable Midnight Garden design will remain consistent, but no two will ever be exactly alike.

THE COVER
The front of Midnight Garden begins with a layered collage of genuine vintage book pages and sheet music.
Sweeping black botanical branches create a dramatic dimensional garden across the cover, accented with individually handmade book-page roses and a black butterfly.
The combination of aged cream paper, deep black botanicals and gold spiral binding 1gives Midnight Garden its distinctive Gothic, romantic and timeworn character.
THE BACK
The back cover is also fully papered with a collage of vintage book pages and sheet music.
It is intentionally left without the dimensional roses, botanical branches or butterfly found on the front, creating a flatter, more practical back surface while carrying the vintage-paper design around the journal.
80 PHYSICAL PAGES • 160 USABLE SURFACES
This journal contains 80 actual physical sheets/pages, providing 160 usable front-and-back surfaces.
Each page is individually coffee-aged by hand. Natural variations in color, rippling, wrinkles, distressed edges and other irregularities are intentional and part of the handmade aging process.
The pages are also perforated, allowing individual pages to be removed easily when desired — a wonderful feature for journaling, artwork, collage, keepsakes or pieces you may want to display or share.
GOLD SPIRAL BINDING
The gold spiral is both a functional and decorative part of the Midnight Garden design. It allows the large journal to open comfortably while adding a warm metallic contrast against the aged papers and black botanical details.

The photographs represent the Midnight Garden design and show examples of the natural variations that occur from journal to journal.
Because genuine vintage papers and individually handmade components are used, your journal will not be an exact duplicate of the example shown.
Vintage book and sheet-music pages will differ. Paper placement and torn edges will vary. Each book-page rose is handmade and will have its own individual folds, petal shapes and size variations. The natural shape and branching of the black botanical elements will also vary slightly.
