After the celebration, return the lace to its card, place it back inside its protective sleeve, and preserve it as a keepsake from your wedding day.

This collection was created from an authentic vintage crochet lace tablecloth featuring delicate floral rosettes, leaf-like details and intricate openwork.

Likely dating to the mid-20th century, the original textile reflects the beautiful handwork and decorative traditions of an earlier era.

A small portion has been preserved through reinterpretation so that its story may continue as part of yours.

Because each piece is individually selected and cut from the original textile, no two Something Old keepsakes are exactly alike. Motif placement, shape, edges and details will naturally vary from the examples photographed. These variations are part of the beauty and history of the original textile.

Your Something Old arrives inside a clear protective cello sleeve finished with a handmade antique-gold flexible wax-blend seal stamped with a key.

Unlike a traditional brittle wax seal intended to crack or break when opened, the flexible wax-blend seal can be kept intact. The presentation is designed to be gently opened and resealed, allowing you to return your vintage lace to its card after the celebration and preserve the presentation as part of your keepsake.

Each seal is individually handmade, so its shape, texture and small irregularities will naturally vary.

Pattern, motif placement, shape, edges and other characteristics will vary. Some portions may feature original finished crochet edges while others may have naturally raw or cut edges created during the reinterpretation of the original textile.

These differences are intentional and ensure that your Something Old is truly one of a kind.
