Lot of 10 vintage postcards from the 1910s-1920s — a great mix of early Hollywood arcade cards, real photo postcards, and art/romance cards.

FIVE EXHIBIT SUPPLY CO. MOVIE STAR ARCADE CARDS (1926):
Carlton Griffin, Forrest Stanley, James Gleason, Willie Howard, and Jack Hoxie ("Cordially Yours Jack Hoxie"). These penny-arcade cards were made by the Exhibit Supply Co. of Chicago for their vending machines — about postcard size on cardstock, each marked "© 1926 by Ex. Sup. Co., Chgo." The Willie Howard and James Gleason cards have printed biographies on the back (Gleason's mentions his plays "The Fall Guy" and "Is Zat So?"); the Griffin, Stanley, and Hoxie cards carry the standard Exhibit Supply back. Jack Hoxie was a silent-era western star.

TWO REAL PHOTO POSTCARDS (RPPCs) — actual photographs printed on postcard stock:
- Young girl in a coat and hat standing on a sidewalk (some peeling/edge wear along the top — see photos)
- Studio group portrait of five people, with "XX" penciled beneath the image

THREE ART & ROMANCE CARDS:
- "Queen of the Butterflies" — art nouveau fairy woman with butterflies. Back marked "Carbon Photo Series No. 728."
- "For Ever and Ever" — framed romantic kissing couple
- Hand-colored moonlit romance scene — German card, "R.E.L. Theochrom Serie No. 1012, Made in Germany," mailed with a handwritten message in Danish/Norwegian (stamp removed)

One card bears a Marion, Indiana postmark dated August 1911. Two of the art cards have blank backs with no postcard markings.

CONDITION: Good antique condition overall. The girl RPPC has top-edge peeling; the Hoxie card has a small corner crease; light edge wear consistent with age on the others. Please review all photos — closeups of fronts and backs are included.

A nice starter lot for postcard collectors — or for the 1926 movie-star arcade cards alone.
